The Garmin Rino 610 is an exceptional FRS/GMRS 2-Way Survival Radio and GPS receiver combined in a rugged, waterproof, package.

Garmin's Rino 610 allows for Radio communications of up to 5 miles using GMRS and up to 2 miles on the FRS band. The high sensitivity GPS receiver and quad helix antenna quickly finds your position and maintains it, even in heavy cover. With the Position Reporting feature, the Rino 610 lets you send your EXACT location to other members in your Survival group. You can also send unit to unit text messages to other Rino users in your area. The Rino 610 is ideal for loud or windy conditions, plus improved audio performance means it's easy to communicate with other conventional FRS/GMRS Radios in the area.

The Garmin Rino 610 has a huge 2.6" color touchscreen GPS, and comes with a worldwide base-map with shaded relief. You can also download U.S TOPO 24k maps of the Survival area you've selected.
